Christine Smith-Mann was born and raised in Hong Kong, but now plans to sell her flat in the city and split her time between Hong Kong and the UK. With the city facing its first recession in a decade, and many businesses struggling to survive, moving companies are thriving. Protests followed by the deadly coronavirus have given rise to a surge in enquiries and bookings for international relocation company SwiftRelo. “In the history of this company, this is the busiest we have ever been at this time of the year”, said company sales director Jon Boag.
