I wanted to share my experience with COVID and the debilitating headaches I’ve been dealing with months later in hopes it will help others

*COVID symptoms started – 7/5/20

* I tested positive for 18 days

*Symptoms during the first 14 days: intense headache, fatigue, muscle soreness/cramps, body aches, loss of taste and smell, “fuzzy head” and almost memory loss feeling, forgetful, shortness of breath, temp 99.3 for 6 days, very mild dry cough for 24 hours only, panic attacks, anxiety, crazy emotional swings, numbness in my fingers and toes, just overall crummy feeling.

I’ve had countless doctors visits, lab draws, CT scans, ER and urgent care visits, IV vitamin infusions, virtual visits with a holistic practitioner.

I’ve tried it all: migraine meds, high dose vitamins to boost immunity, pain meds, ice, TENS unit, chiropractor, massage therapy, meditation, oils, steroid injections, steroid packs, inflammation elimination diet, … the list goes on and on.
I’m awaiting a neurology consult and an MRI but so far everything has come back normal.

I’m continuing 8 weeks later to have daily, debilitating head pain related to inflammation after the virus. I also have fatigue and numbness in my fingers and toes. This is the part no one talks about. It’s celebrated that the majority of cases are “mild” which mine would be classified as mild, and it is great that many people are not hospitalized. However, I am still suffering months later and I wanted to share my experience so others do not feel isolated like I have.
