The Ministry of National Security has issued a reminder to political parties and their supporters that Public Health Guidelines for COVID-19 prevention remain in place.
In a release, the National Security Ministry said it has been observed that on occasion, political party supporters and candidates are congregating in public places in groups of more than 25.
The Ministry is reiterating that it is unsafe and a breach of Public Health Novel Coronavirus Regulations to hold gatherings of over 25 people in public spaces.
Members of the public are reminded to abide by the COVID-19 regulations currently in place to ensure public health safety. The National Security Ministry also reminded that breaches of the regulations carry sanctions.
